Pub night

"P" didn't need to choose between celebrating his birthday over a pint of stout at the pub or with a party cake. This dark chocolate and Guinness cake with chocolate and Guinness buttercream offered the best of both worlds. Nor were drinking snacks forgotten. Crushed milk chocolate-covered peanuts were folded into the buttercream to make a filling layer with textural contrast, and the cake was finished off with pretzels hand-dipped in white chocolate and additional whole milk chocolate-covered peanuts. Happy birthday, "P"!
