An afternoon tea party for visitors on 29th April gave Jen an excuse for some experimentation in the kitchen. While scooping tiny teaspoons of mixture into the individual mini cupcake cases she did ponder her reasons for the miniaturisation. All for the sake of her art she delivered a double dish of delicate deliciousness!
Spicy orange buttercream coloured with paprika
Blushing pink buttercream coloured with blueberry juice
Fresh green buttercream coloured with avocado
(light lemon and blue poppy seed mini cupcakes with tangy lemon drizzle icing, decorated with piped lemon buttercream coloured using paprika (mind the bite), avocado (needs extra icing sugar but tastes fresh) and blueberry)
