Spring blooms

Spring = new growth + freshly cut grass + sweet scents + flowers + sunny skies

Spring on a plate = new recipes + green tea sponge cake/buttercream/marzipan + lavender mousse + flower cutters + sunny-dispositioned friends

(Prepared in both individual-sized dessert and taster portions: matcha (green tea) sponge cake covered in a thin layer of matcha buttercream, topped with a floret of lavender mousse, and completed with matcha-enhanced marzipan embellishments. With thanks to Upper Cut Gal "E"'s relatives for the homegrown lavender that was used to infuse the mousse!)
