As Upper Cut Cake gal Jen sits shivering in the office it becomes apparent that Autumn is upon us. With her great value organic veggie bag a week or so ago came a beautiful little pumpkin. There may have been a healthier suggestion for using up said pumpkin but cake was the order of the day for Jen was expecting visitors.
Inspired by the photo on this blog post by Dine & Dish over on iambaker.net Jen couldn't resist trying the recipe. A lack of bundt pan and despite following the instructions for the glaze the cake did not turn out quite as tasty looking as the picture but a quick bit of thinking, some cocoa powder and a leaf (brought home for mummy by mini Upper Cut Cake gal A) turned it into a centre piece for the weekend.
